About Me

She/Her/Hers

Welcome!

I am currently a fourth-year graduate student in Astronomy at Boston University, delving into the intriguing realm of L and T dwarf variability. I received my Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in May of 2020. I am currently a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and previous Clare Boothe Luce Fellow and at Boston University.

Beyond the academic realm, my husband and I are knee-deep in the renovation of a 1900 Victorian home in the suburbs of Boston , alongside our lovable mutt, Tesla. Designing, demoing, and reconstructing our home takes a majority of my spare time, but I also love to take long walks with our pup, visit family in upstate New York, and curling up with a good book.

As I prepare to apply for post-doctoral positions in the fall of 2024, my sights are set on building connections and fostering inclusive environments within the Astronomy community. With aspirations of leading my own research group one day, I'm passionate about gaining experience across all realms of academic service including research, teaching, mentoring, outreach, and inclusivity.
